After sleeping in some on Saturday, we went to rehearsal. The day was beautiful with lots of sun...minus sunscreen.

After a fabulous show (beating the Cadets!) we stood in front for all their concert pieces. Being in front of the low brass is where it's at. Just look at those horns!
Playing Spartacus, Elsa's, New World and another one I can't remember (probably cause of all the beer I had). I'm sure Mike remembers. But it was awesome!

I saw my name and I was like, "What? I mean, I know I was a band geek for awhile there but a whole song named after me?" And now I remember it: Is it called "Elsa's processional into the cathedral?" That just popped into my head but I don't know how it goes. Sing it, Jess.
Yep you're right Elsa. It was played at our wedding. We are total geeks. And of course when they started playing it we were like "Awe, so tender!"

It was nice of you to play that at your wedding as I processed into the cathedral. (That's pro with a long o, not "processed" like processed meat) So difficult to verbalize on blogs.
